What to Expect

Worried about coming to BCC? Here's what to expect.

We're a friendly church and ‘home' to all sorts of people. We understand that walking into a church meeting can be a bit intimidating. Don't worry! At BCC, we have people from many walks of life and different age groups. Someone from our Welcome Team will ensure that you are welcomed and shown to a seat if that's what you'd like.

The only question is will your kids have more fun than you will? We know that whether you have infants or older children, you need a safe place for them to learn. We also know that your children will want to have lots of fun. Our children's leader and volunteers are committed to providing a safe and fun place where your children will learn from a great Biblical curriculum which has been especially written for them.

You'll walk out feeling different than when you walked in. The fantastic thing about Jesus Christ is that He never leaves us the same. Having spent time in His presence, you will feel different. At BCC, you'll enjoy great music and be encouraged and challenged by practical down-to-earth teaching that's relevant to real life.

What do I wear?

Some people think you have to dress in your ‘Sunday Best' when attending a church meeting. At BCC, we have no formal dress codes and we simply invite you to come as you are. Some people dress in a more formal way, while others are more casual - so, whatever works best for you, come and give us a visit.

We understand that life is busy and sometimes complicated. Church shouldn't be.

We believe that attending a church meeting should be an enjoyable and thought provoking experience - a place where we can all pause to experience God and enjoy being with each other. If you've never been to a church meeting, or, it's been a while, we hope that we've been able to answer some of your questions. If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Church meetings should be interesting and inspirational - somewhere to connect with God. At BCC, you'll expience friendly people, great music, encouraging talks and an inspirational atmosphere where life happens.

One last thing!

We serve free tea, coffee and cold drinks at the end of all our meetings, together with calorie filled snacks! You're always welcome to stay around and chat.
