I facilitate a small ladies group
My name is Jan and I facilitate a small ladies group, though our husbands are always welcome if they wish to join us! We are mainly made up of the more mature age group with one or two exceptions. It's a privilege to get together once a fortnight to either just enjoy one another's company over a cup of tea and a wonderful piece of cake or to get around God's word for a more in-depth Bible study.
Whenever we meet we will inevitably spend time talking to the Lord about various situations and praying for specific needs; it is always rewarding and faith building to pray through a situation and to see the answer come through. It is a wonderful time to be together, build relationship and share in one another's lives - the highs and lows. We usually try to share the responsibility of leading the group each time we meet or we may ask someone else to come and share something with us.
