Building Project

In 1994 BCC bought three acres of land on Rea Barn Road in Brixham.

We have secured planning consent for a community church building called the Kings Centre. Alongside of this, permission has also been secured for 12 affordable homes (for rent), one affordable home (for shared ownership), 23 apartments and two coach houses for sale on the open market.

Phase One of the development (affordable homes) was finished and ready for occupation by the end of April 2008. These were designed by a local Firm of Architects called Narracotts.

We are expecting Phase two, the construction of 12 apartments and 1 Coach House, to commence in February 2010 or sooner. These properties are currently being sold 'off plan' and interest is high! Negotiations are also in hand for a further building which will be great for Brixham - watch this space!
